Lindsay Freeman Lindsay Freeman The next month, we ventured to Downtown Grapevine to soak in the Christmas festivities. The streets were lined with twinkling lights, and the scent of hot cocoa and gingerbread wafted through the air. Then Christmas came, and the day was perfect, filled with laughter and warmth, and as you can see in the photo, Bosten’s excitement is palpable. That picture? It’s a snapshot of his heart—a boy full of energy, love, and endless enthusiasm. It has been a quiet season at the Freeman House. We kicked things off with a trip to Six Flags just before the cold really set in. Our oldest, no longer as excited about the rides as his younger brother and sister, still found his own way to enjoy the day—cheering them on from the sidelines, or walking with us through the park, taking in the sights and sounds of the place he once adored. The younger two couldn’t get enough of the roller coasters, their laughter filling the air as they rode again and again.
