TEAM NEWS - RFG Wealth Advisory Fall 2025

A newsletter from RFG Wealth Advisory featuring personal stories, family updates, and career progressions by team members, with a focus on the changes and transitions of the season.

TEAM NEWS RFG Wealth Advisory Happy 30th Anniversary! RFG Wealth Oh well! Times were slightly different back then. The dress code was a little tighter as we had to wear a suit to work each day and could not leave our office without our jacket on! We had no computers; they started showing up a year or two later. We had no cell phones, and again, they showed up a year later. My car was a 1985 Mustang, and the air conditioner would only last about 10 minutes before shutting off. Luckily, Texas doesn’t have hot summers! I lived with my older brother Scott and slept on his couch. I could not afford rent. I spent the next several months studying for my securities tests. I was obviously highly motivated to improve my situation in life, so I studied very hard and passed all my tests on my first attempt. I then entered the training program. They had me write down in a booklet all the people I knew and their phone numbers. So, in my little cubicle, with a phone and my booklet, I started my career. I quickly learned about handling rejection! My main goal was to make it to Christmas. I thought that by then, I would have enough knowledge to be able to have some success. I was not exactly an overnight success! But I wasn’t a quitter. I didn’t mention that I was on straight commission and did not get my first paycheck until May that year. I went five months without a paycheck! But ever so slowly, I started to get some traction. I made a lot of friends at that firm, but after 7 years, I decided to start my own firm. (Cont) On May 15 2025, RFG Wealth Advisory celebrated our 10th anniversary as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Many of you have been with us through this transition that took us from RFG Wealth Management to where we are today. However, we’ve had so many new clients join us just in the past few years, I wanted to take a moment and give you a short history of where RFG began. January 3, 1995, was my first day in the Financial Services business. My new office was in the Galleria Tower Two building. When I showed up that morning, they gave me a stack of business cards. I was so proud to have a business card, then I noticed they had taken some generic cards and used a black typewriter to type my name on the blue ink business cards.

This turned out to be a very good decision. My practice grew tremendously. I was now married with three little boys, and we had moved to Argyle. Our office was still in Dallas, and the time had come to move the office closer to my house. Argyle was such a sleepy little town back then, but I had faith we could make it. The commute went from one hour each way to about 4 minutes each way. Funny, even though I had a pretty rough start, I look back very fondly at those times. The best part of this journey has been all the wonderful clients and team members I have been so fortunate to get to know throughout these years. We now have four partners at our firm, and they are so talented. I look forward to coming to work each day. So, where do we go from here? I am very excited about our future. I have no plans of retiring; I love what I do way too much! I want to continue to help people reach their financial potential, which hopefully will greatly improve their lives. This is a year of transition for us as our children age. After this school year, we will only have one child at home. It’s been a great ride but hard to believe it has gone by so fast. I do miss the days of having young children. But I do want to enjoy all stages of life and love watching them grow into adults. RFG Stories - Chris Robinson “I just love the fall! It is favorite season closely followed by winter.”

My third son Ben is a senior at Argyle High School and seems to be really enjoying his last year. He has such a great group of friends and they are always out having adventures. They are also very good students and they are all trying to decide where they will go to college. It is really cool to see talented young people trying to make a big future for themselves! Our second son Jacob is in the middle of football season at Sam Houston State University. It has been a tough year for him with numerous injuries. He had a great game against the University of Texas in Austin early in the season. He plays linebacker and blew through the line and tackled UT’s running back in the backfield on the goal line. It’s funny how sports changes so much as you move up the levels. It has been so much fun watching him through the years, but I also realize how tough football is at the college level. I really am looking forward to seeing what he accomplishes after football. My wife Joyce continues to shuttle Molly around, this will change as she turns 16 this coming summer. Hard to see ourselves as empty nesters but it’s not that far off! Joyce also stays busy making sure all the children are getting everything done and are succeeding in their lives. I guess this will never change! My daughter Molly is a freshman at Argyle High School. She continues to play tennis and have fun with her friends, but school is always number 1. She’s such a serious student! I expect big things from her! Our oldest child Henry, graduated from Texas Tech in the summer and is looking for a job and continuing his computer science learning.

We have had an excellent year at RFG Wealth Advisory. We have a couple new faces as well with Michael Tull and Lanette Frost. I am looking forward to watching them help our team succeed. There are a lot of challenges as usual in the world and our country. There are a lot of economic challenges we face today. After more than 30 years as a financial advisor, I have come to realize that there will always be challenges and crisis. I always appreciate the good economic times and the good stock markets but know that challenges will come as well. But tremendous financial success is created by owning great companies for large periods of time. Smart decision making pays off tremendously over time. We are there for our clients to create a plan for financial success, time does the heavy lifting. When I passed my first securities exam in 1995, the Dow Jones was trading around 3800. As I write this it is trading over 46,600. That is hard to believe! What ups and downs we have had in between but just investing smartly for long periods of time pays off so well. I hope 2025 finishes strong and 2026 is good as well, but just like life we have to expect the ups and downs. We are here to help you in any way we can and I look forward to seeing all of you soon!

My favorite experience besides shopping for an Italian leather purse was the great city of Athens. Here, we toured the incredible Acropolis Museum, which resides next to the actual Acropolis. This summer, we experienced our first Viking Ocean cruise. We've had the privilege of the river cruise before, but this was different. This adventure began outside Milan, Italy, on Lake Maggiore. This beautiful area was one we'd never visited before, and it's so close to Switzerland that you can almost taste the chocolate and hear the cow bells. We had a 3-day pre-cruise stay here and explored the Italian lakes while doing some shopping, eating, and relaxing. Then we were transported to Venice to board the beautiful Viking Star. We spent 11 glorious days exploring Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece. We explored everything from monasteries, walking the city wall in Dubrovnik, a classical guitar concert, to ancient Olympia. Did you know the original Olympic Games were played sans clothing? Ouch! This rule ensured no women were sneaking in to compete or train with the men. Travel is a passion as well as an education. Learning about the Italian and Greek cultures through the daily lecture series onboard was fascinating. It is not only history, but also the spotlights on artists, architecture, and trade. All fascinating! If you have the desire and opportunity, travel! RFG Stories - Susan Dawson “Travel continues to be a theme, and we love it.”

Pretty much sums up the early part of Fall. First Football: At this point, the Krum Bobcats are undefeated and District Champions. Mateo has had a great senior season playing both sides of the ball: middle linebacker on defense and running back on offense. Each week, Sharon and I are involved with Thursday night team dinners. Fridays are spent preparing for team pre-game and post-game meals. Then on Saturdays, 6-10 of Mateo’s teammates come over to watch film and grill hamburgers. It has been very busy, but soon, I will be missing it. Playoffs start November 14 th, Wish us luck. RFG Stories - Emilio Gonzalez Fall has been a time of Family get-togethers! From birthday parties, preseason rallies, Texas/OU games, and plain ‘ol Sunday afternoon grilling sessions, we have made fun memories in the “new” home and enjoyed every second of it. I'm so grateful to each of you for being part of RFG Wealth Advisory. We love serving you every day and count it a blessing to be part of this special part of your life. Football, Family, and Food!

It is hard not to focus on Mateo since he is our youngest and it is his Senior year, but we have three other kiddos!!! Diego is enjoying life; he and I have been working out together for 6 months. He is getting back to his fighting weight and helping keep me accountable. Isabella is coming up on her one- year wedding anniversary and really likes married life. Olivia is still killing it in PT school. She started her clinicals this semester and is getting some hands-on experience. And even with all of the hustle and bustle, Sharon and I could take some time out and attend the phenomenal Children’s Advocacy Center’s Gala. I cannot leave without mentioning my favorite grandbaby, Mia. She continues to amaze me daily, and I think she likes spending time with her Nonny and Pappy. I absolutely adore this little sack of sugar! However, she does have a little competition. We recently acquired a new family member, Jaeger. He is a Deutsch-Drahthaar and is currently in “boot camp” learning to hunt quail. He is pretty cute, but I think Mia takes the cake.

RFG Stories - Nick Noll Our youngest, Emily, kicked off high school this year, and let me tell you, the mix of nerves and thrill was real for all of us. She's diving in headfirst, making new friends and jumping into every event the school throws her way. So far, it's been an absolute blast for her. We also completed our fall softball season and came out as champs!! Coaching her team is such a joy! In the middle, Addison is loving her junior year and made the most of summer by interning with my wife at her medical practice. She's set her sights on a medical career and is already researching colleges to make those dreams a reality as she wraps up high school. What a whirlwind of excitement and change in the Noll household lately! As many of you know, our oldest, Kylie, took a huge step this fall by heading off to Murray State College— our very first kid in college. It's been an emotional rollercoaster of pride, nerves, and pure joy. She's already shining on the soccer field, wrapping up her freshman season with a strong impression on the coaches and advancing to the second round of playoffs. We're counting down to next year's games! Family Milestones & Adventures

Fall hit with a busy back-to-school and sports schedule. Our kids decided to try a hybrid homeschool program this year, and they have enjoyed the mix of learning between school and home. They have also been trying out a few new sports this year. This fall, I was able to coach Carson’s soccer team, the Mighty Giraffes (by majority vote). In between the countless ‘water breaks and various other distractions, he was able to score a few goals! Calvin has been enjoying Taekwondo and attended his first tournament last month, where he took first place in combat sparring and third place in both traditional sparring and weapons. He does get a lot of practice at home sparring upstairs with his brother! The highlight of fall was going on a kid-free vacation with Sarah to Costa Rica for a week with two other couples. We went from the rainforest to the Arenal Volcano and finished at the beach. We were able to enjoy the diverse landscapes, food, and activities of the three regions. If you have never been, I highly recommend visiting it. My wife and I hit some big milestones on the home front: our 18th wedding anniversary and her 40th birthday! We celebrated in style with a family getaway to Broken Bow, renting a cozy cabin for the week. Hiking, laughing, and creating memories we'll cherish forever was the perfect recharge. Here's to more adventures ahead! RFG Stories - Mike Lemich

RFG Stories - Ryan Schroer Erica and I took a trip to Switzerland to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and it was fantastic. The scenery, the people, and the food (especially chocolate!) were wonderful. We had a great time traversing the country via train and experiencing the German, French, and Italian-speaking regions of the Swiss wonderland. The last few months have provided some great opportunities to experience nature. We spent some time on Lake Palestine catching catfish, catching cutthroat trout in ID, and catching bass in MO. From floating the Current River in Missouri to hiking the Alps in Switzerland, God’s glory was on full display the past few months. We are looking forward to spending more time outdoors, enjoying the cooler weather, and celebrating the holiday season with family and friends. The kids have been begging for a dog lately, so the million-dollar question is... will they get a dog for Christmas? Only time will tell.... Fishing, Trekking, and Football

The boys played football this fall, had a great time, and escaped with no injuries. Our daughter played volleyball for the first time, so it was a learning experience for all of us. Much improvement was made between the beginning and the end of the season. It’s certainly an activity-laden season of life for our family, but it is a blast watching them. RFG participated in the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce Clay Shoot and the Cross Timbers Rotary Duck Derby. We are proud to invest and support in our local community. The firm continues to grow by delivering exceptional value to our clients, and it's our joy to serve others.
