My third son Ben is a senior at Argyle High School and seems to be really enjoying his last year. He has such a great group of friends and they are always out having adventures. They are also very good students and they are all trying to decide where they will go to college. It is really cool to see talented young people trying to make a big future for themselves! Our second son Jacob is in the middle of football season at Sam Houston State University. It has been a tough year for him with numerous injuries. He had a great game against the University of Texas in Austin early in the season. He plays linebacker and blew through the line and tackled UT’s running back in the backfield on the goal line. It’s funny how sports changes so much as you move up the levels. It has been so much fun watching him through the years, but I also realize how tough football is at the college level. I really am looking forward to seeing what he accomplishes after football. My wife Joyce continues to shuttle Molly around, this will change as she turns 16 this coming summer. Hard to see ourselves as empty nesters but it’s not that far off! Joyce also stays busy making sure all the children are getting everything done and are succeeding in their lives. I guess this will never change! My daughter Molly is a freshman at Argyle High School. She continues to play tennis and have fun with her friends, but school is always number 1. She’s such a serious student! I expect big things from her! Our oldest child Henry, graduated from Texas Tech in the summer and is looking for a job and continuing his computer science learning.
