FUNDING MEDIUM Benefits are provided from the Fund’s assets, which are accumu- lated under the provisions of collective bargaining agreements, participation agreements, and the Trust Agreement, and held in a trust fund for the sole purpose of providing benefits to covered participants and beneficiaries and for defraying administrative ex- penses.
