RFG Stories - Lanette Frost We have had a fun - filled, wonderfully busy first quarter. My oldest daughter, Lydia, graduates in May and has been soaking up all the senior moments—snapping senior photos, hunting down scholarships, and saying yes to the perfect final prom dress. She’s close to choosing between TCU and ACU and plans to major in Interior Design. Stay tuned for the next newsletter to see whether she becomes a Horned Frog or a Wildcat! My son Ben and I just had the best Mom’s Weekend at TCU with his fraternity brothers. We moms feel incredibly blessed to have formed such close friendships over the last year and a half, and we all agree that TCU is truly a special place for our boys. We squeezed in several memorable outings, including a TCU basketball game that ended in a big victory! Ben also just got back from a Spring Break trip to Cabo, where he soaked up plenty of sun and beach time with his buddies. We jump at any chance to be with family, especially when we can be outside. Fishing is my Sophia’s favorite way to enjoy the fresh air. She’s already excited about joining the bass fishing team once she’s in high school. Lydia, Sophia, and I have been incredibly grateful to be part of the National Charity League for the past 4 years and to serve our community together. One of our favorite events each year is Night to Shine, where we help on the red - carpet team. We love being the cheering “paparazzi,” celebrating honored guests with special needs and reminding them they are deeply loved and seen. I’ve been honored to serve as VP of Philanthropy with NCL for the past few years and am excited to dive into a new role in the year ahead. Sophie was surrounded by so much love and support from friends and family during her theater production of Frozen Jr. It is one of our favorite shows to be part of, and the theater always feels like such a magical place. She has loved putting her choir skills to work on stage this spring.
